So, theoretically, you can use the same mattress your child had in their cot and may not need to buy a new one. However, in reality, the old mattress might have wear and tear, providing a good reason to consider replacement. After all, it's always a good idea to ensure a comfy snooze for your little one.

A toddler bed typically measures approximately 140cm in length and 70cm in width, while a single bed tends to be around 190cm long and 90cm wide. So you can see, the little snooze space in a toddler bed is smaller compared to a single bed.
